yeah, the method that is given in this site for breeding a golden chocobo won't work on the pc. here's the method i used to get a golden chocobo on the pc:

1. accumulate up to 100000 gil
2. buy as much sylkies greens from the chocobo sage as possible

3. catch a MALE WALKING and a FEMALE RUNNING
4. feed each chocobo 10 sylkeis greens
5. race them at the golden saucer until both reach "A" class. (need to race each of them 6 times)
6. breed them to get a green chocobo.
7. get LOTS of more money until u can buy 40 more sylkies greens.
8. feed your green chocobo 10 sylkies greens.
9. race him/her to "A" class.
10. breed the same two MALE WALKING and FEMALE RUNNING chocobos again to get a blue chocobo. (u may have to repeat this until u get a gender opposite of your green chocobo)
11. feed your blue chocobo 10 sylkies greens and race to "A" class.
12. wait a while and then breed the newborn blue chocobo with your green chocobo, giveing u a black chocobo.
13. feed your black chocobo 10 sylkies greens and race to "S" class. (it isn't really difficult)
14. catch a DASHING CHOCOBO opposite gender to your black chocobo.
15. feed it 10 sylkies greens and race to "S" class.
16. breed DASHING "S" class chocobo with BLACK "S" class chocobo and VOILA!!! GOLDEN CHOCOBO.
