Description

Mideel is on a Southern island. It is a small village surrounded by a forest.

1st Visit Objective

In Mideel is a hospital, where you soon find Cloud.
There are a number of things to do in Mideel, so make sure that you do them before talking to the dog.

Getting the Curse Ring

• Go to the weapons shop and examine the door in the back of the room.
• Go outside and climb up the stairs, then walk along the floorboards behind the house where you can buy accessories. You should hear a sound. If you press O to examine the floor, you'll receive a key.
• Return to the weapon shop and examine the door in the back again. When an option appears, select the top choice. You'll mess around with the door. When the shopkeeper asks what's going on, pick the bottom option, and he'll give you the Curse Ring accessory.

  Getting the Contain Materia

• Make sure you have some Mimett Greens.
• Talk to the person who runs about with the little white Chocobo in each of the shops.
• Talk to the Chocobo, and feed it some Mimett Greens (they messed the translation up here).
• Choose to scratch the Chocobo behinds the ear.

Once you have finished buying things, approach the Sleeping dog in the middle of the village, you will now over hear that Cloud is in the Hospital.
Tifa decides to stay with Cloud, so now Cid is the leader of your party.

You now have to start on the Huge Materia Quests. At this point you can do two, in any order, they are at North Corel and Condor Mountain.
In this walkthrough I shall tackle North Corel first.

Once you visit Cloud again Ultima Weapon will show up again. Once it has gone, the Lifestream will erupt, and Cloud and Tifa will fall into it.

You now have to play through a long story telling part, where you finally learn who Cloud is, and the true story of his past.

Once all of your Characters return to the Highwind, head towards Junon again.

You have to fight off Ultimate Weapon.
